In the selection interview held yesterday (06 Feb. 2015) PESB has selected B K Mishra (GM, SECL/CIL) for the post of Director (Technical), Western Coalfields Limited.
PESB has forwarded his name to the Appointment Committee of Cabinet for ratification.
Currently, two important posts of Director (Tech) & Director (Fin) are running vacant. WCL got its CMD in R R Mishra on October 10 last year.
Western Coalfields Limited (enjoying �Miniratna� status since March 2007) is one of the eight Subsidiary Companies of Coal India Limited which is under administrative control of Ministry of Coal (CIL). WCL contributes approx 8.5% of the national coal production.
As many as 14 candidates had appeared before the selection board.
