Major reshuffle in Maharashtra Govt | 12 IAS transferred

In a major Indian Bureaucracy administrative reshuffle in Maharashtra Government that saw the transfer of 12 IAS officers.

  1. Shri Sudhir Shrivastava IAS (Maharashtra 1983) presently Additional Chief Secretary (Home), has been appointed as Chairman to the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB).
  2. Shri Sunil Porwal IAS (Maharashtra 1983 ) presently as Additional Chief Secretary (Industries), has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary (Home).
  3. Shri Anil Udhavrao Diggikar IAS (Maharashtra 1990) presently Officer on Special Duty and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Environment Department.
  4. Shri Sitaram Janardan Kunte IAS (Maharashtra 1985), Additional Chief Secretary, Higher and Technical Education Department, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (Personnel), General Administration Department.
  5. Shri Manoj Saunik IAS (Maharashtra 1987 ), Principal Secretary (Transport and Ports), is the new Principal Secretary in Public Works Department, as per the order.
  6. Shri Ashish Kumar Singh IAS (Maharashtra 1988 ), Principal Secretary, Public Works Department, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Transport and Ports.
  7. Shri M M Suryawanshi IAS (Maharashtra 2010) has been transferred and appointed Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Co-op Tribal Development Corporation, Nashik.
  8. Shri Sanjay Meena IAS (Maharashtra 2011), has been posted as Additional Tribal Commissioner, Thane.
  9. Shri Satish M Gavai IAS (Maharashtra 1984), Additional Chief Secretary, Environment Department, has been named Additional Chief Secretary, Industries, Energy and Labour Department.
  10. Ms Vandana Krishna IAS (Maharashtra 1985), Additional Chief Secretary (Reforms), Finance Department, has been shifted and named Additional Chief Secretary, School Education and Sports Department.
  11. Shri Nand Kumar IAS (Maharashtra 1989), Principal Secretary, School Education and Sports Department, has been named Principal Secretary and Chief Protocol Officer, General Administration Department.
  12. Shri Rajagopal Devara IAS (Maharashtra 1992), Principal Secretary and Chief Protocol Officer, General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary (Reforms), Finance Department.
