In a major police reshuffle, the Punjab Government transferred thirty two IPS and five PPS officers in the state with immediate effect. Among the IPS officers, Harpreet Singh Sidhu goes as ADGP Special Task Force (STF), Sharad Satya Chauhan as ADGP Traffic, Gaurav Yadav as ADGP, Administration and Gurpreet Deo has been posted as ADGP IT&T and Litigation.
Varinder Kumar has been appointed as ADGP Intelligence, Ishwar Singh as ADGP Law and Order with additional charge of CP and NRI Punjab, Jitendra Jain as ADGP, Policy and Rules, SK Asthana as ADGP, Modernization and Shashi Prabha Dwivedi goes as ADGP, HRD.
R N Dhoke has been posted as ADGP Security, Arpit Shukla as ADGP Provisioning, Naresh Arora as IGP Intelligence, Ram Singh as IGP Intelligence (Administration) and V Neeraja has been appointed as IGP Ropar Range with additional charge of IGP Cyber Crime.
M F Farooqui goes as IGP Bathinda range, Naunihal Singh as IGP Jalandhar range, Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh as IGP Crime with additional charge of OCCU, Gurinder Singh as IGP Ferozepur range, Mohnish Chawla as IGP IT&T and M S Chhina has been posted as IGP Human Rights.
Jaskaran Singh has been appointed as IGP Crime, Yurinder Singh as Additional Director- cum- IGP MRS PPA Phillaur, S K Singh as IGP Security with additional charge of IGP Traffic, A K Pandey as IGP Law and Order and Commando- cum-SOG, Ananya Gautam as AGP ATS with additional charge of IGP FIU and A K Mittal goes as DIG Administration.
Gursharan Singh Sandhu has been posted as DIG Intelligence, Sukhchain Singh as CP Ludhiana, B L Meena as DIG Crime, Ranbir Singh Khatra as DIG Ludhiana range, Deepak Hilori as AIG Intelligence and Amneet Koundal goes as AIG Personnel-II.
Among the PPS officers, Jasdeep Singh Saini has been appointed as AIG Counter Intelligence with additional charge of Commandant 4th CDO battalion, SAS Nagar, Sukhdev Singh as AIG Telecommunications, Rakesh Kaushal as AIG Crime, Randip Singh Mann as Commandant 3rd battalion, SAS Nagar and Harinderjit Singh goes as AIG CID Amritsar with additional charge of Commandant 5th IRB, Amritsar.
