Shri Vipin Anand presently Zonal Manager (lncharge), LIC, Western Zone, LIC Mumbai has been appointed as Managing Director (MD), Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) for a period of five years with effect from the date of their assumption of charge.
Shri Vipin Anand joined LIC in 1983 as a Direct Recruit Officer. During service of more than 35 years with the Organization, 21 years have been in various Leadership positions. Also, handled several important assignments in various capacities and departments, in Operations as well as at the Corporate level, ranging from Information Technology, Marketing, Personnel & Industrial Relations to Corporate Communications and International Operations, across different geographical locations of the country, with great success. Executive Director (Direct Marketing), Executive Director (International Operations) in setting up of LIC’s operations in Singapore and Bangladesh, and Executive Director (Corporate Communications). He was also a member of the IRDAI committee for framing Regulations on Digital Marketing.
