Shri V Thiruppugazh IAS (Gujarat 1991) presently Advisor, National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs has been given upgradation on in-situ basis to the level of Additional Secretary to the GoI by temporarily upgrading the posts as Advisor, National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
