Rear Admiral DS Gujral, NM has taken over as Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Communications Space and Net-centric Operations) at Integrated Headquarters of MoD(Navy). The Flag officer, an alumnus of 69th Course National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla was commissioned into the Executive Branch of Indian Navy on 01 Jan 87. Communication & Electronics Warfare Specialist, his afloat appointments include EXO of INS Nashak and INS Delhi, and Command of INS Nishank, INS Karmuk and INS Trishul.
Rear Admiral DS Gujral has held appointments of Directing Staff at Defence Services Staff College Wellington, Officer-in-Charge of Signal School, Deputy Director Naval Signals, Director Naval Operations and Principal Director Network & Space Operations. He has undergone Joint Staff Course at Collège interarmées de defense, France and Higher Command Course at Naval War College.
