Suspended IPS officer and accused in Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case PP Pandey has been reinstated as ADGP of law and order by the Gujarat government only three days after he was released on bail by a special CBI court.
Pandey was ADGP-CID (Crime) when he was arrested by the CBI in July 2013 after he surrendered before a court.On February 5, a special CBI court here granted him bail in the 2004 encounter case of Ishrat Jahan and three others.
