Shri Devendra Bhushan Gupta IAS ( Rajasthan 1983) presently Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Excise and Taxation Department, has been appointed as Chief Secretary of Rajasthan vice Shri Nihal Chand Goel IAS (Rajasthan 1982).
Shri Gupta, who hails from Jaipur, has held important posts, including those of the District Collector of Sirohi and Ajmer, Commissioner of the Jaipur Development Authority and Principal Secretary in the state Government. He has an MA in Economics and also holds an MBA degree.
