RN Katoch Secretary Heavy Industries will continue to hold the additional charge of Director Enforcement for another three months. He has been holding the charge for the last six months now .Highly placed sources said that despite the fact that the powerful Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had proposed the name of another officer to look after the Enforcement Directorate the Cabinet Secretary decided to continue with the old guard .Earlier Jaitley s proposed list of names to the post of Members Central Board of Customs and Excise was not accommodated by the Cabinet Secretary,interestingly Jaitley is rumoured to be the closest advisor of PM Narendra Modi in the Cabinet .
