Shri Akhil Kumar is a Commerce Graduate who took Civil Services and qualified in Indian Railways Accounts Service batch of 1986.He has served in various cadres of IRAS at Western, South Eastern, Kolkota Metro, South East Central and Eastern Railways. He has held various posts in the major wings of Accounts and Finance in both earnings and expenditure sides in all the Five Zones and also has served in HQ in various capacities dealing with Budget, Administration, Finance etc. He had served as FA&CAO/CON, SECR Bilaspur from June 2007 to November 2012 and as FA&CAO/CON/Eastern Railway from February 2015 to September 2016.
