45 IAS transfers in Bihar

In a major administrative reshuffle on April 27, 2018, Bihar Government has transferred 45 IAS officers including 20 District Magistrate (DM)s.

Shri Ravi Manubhai Parmar IAS (Bihar 1992) has been appointed Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, on his return from central deputation. Shri Mayank Varvade IAS (Bihar 2001) has been appointed CMD, Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation, on his return from inter-cadre deputation. Dr Patima Satish Kumar, an IAS officer of 2002 batch and Commissioner, Commercial-Taxes, has been appointed Secretary, Commercia-Taxes Department, with additional charge of  Commissioner, Commercial-Taxes.

State Transport Commisioner with additional charge of Director, Information & Public Relations Department (IPRD) Shri Anupam Kumar, an IAS officer of 2003 batch, has been shifted and appointed Director, IPRD, with additional charge of  Special Secretary, CM Secretariat. Director, Animal Husbandry, Shri Radheyshyam Shah, an IAS officer of 2005 batch, has been shifted and appointed Additional Secretary, Health Department.

Bhagalpur DM Shri Aadesh Titarmare, an IAS officer of 2006 batch, has been transferred and appointed State Transport Commissioner, Transport Department.

Muzaffarpur DM Shri Dharmendra Singh, also an IAS officer of 2006 batch, too has been transferred and appointed Director, Employment & Training, Labour Resources Department. Shri Pradip Kumar IAS (Bihar 2006 ), Director, Co-operative Societies has been transferred Joint Secretary, Prosecution Directorate, Home Department, replacing Shri Ishwar Chandra Sinha of same batch who has been appointed Joint Secretary, Home Department.

DM, Khagaria, Shri Jai Singh IAS (Bihar 2007 ) has been shifted and appointed Director, Land Records and Measurement, Revenue & Land Reforms Department. Saharsa DM Shri Vinod Singh Gunjiyal IAS ( Bihar 2007) has been transferred and appointed Director, Animal and Fishery Resources Department. Sheikhpura DM Shri Dinesh Kumar IAS (Bihar 2007) has been shiftd and appointed Director, Consumer Protection, Food & Consumer Protection Department.
