Shri Vishal Battula IFS (Telangana 2020), presently District Forest Officer, Mahabubabad, has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer – Vikarabad, Telangana.
An officer of the 2020 batch of the Indian Forest Service, Shri Vishal Battula has been serving as District Forest Officer, Mahabubabad. His present assignment has involved the administration of forest resources and supervision of conservation and protection activities in the district.
With the latest transfer, Shri Battula will take charge as District Forest Officer, Vikarabad. The new assignment places him in charge of the district-level functioning of the Forest Department and its field formations.
The role requires supervision of forest protection and conservation activities, implementation of departmental programmes and coordination with senior forest authorities, other government departments and local stakeholders.
His experience in Mahabubabad is expected to be valuable in handling the new responsibility. The posting forms part of the latest reshuffle in the Telangana Forest Department, under which several District Forest Officers have been transferred to new assignments.
Shri Battula will succeed the officer being transferred from the Vikarabad assignment as part of the administrative changes.
