Indian Bureaucracy News, Lucknow, October 10, 2025 | The Government of Uttar Pradesh, as part of a routine transfer exercise on October 10, 2025, issued orders transferring four IPS officers, including three currently serving in Lucknow. Details of the officers along with their present and new postings are as follows:
- Shri Ashish Srivastava IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2013), presently DCP, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Security, Lucknow.
- Shri Vikrant Vir IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2014), presently SP, DG Headquarters, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Police Commissionerate, Lucknow.
- Shri Anil Kumar Singh IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2015), presently Commandant, 28th Battalion, PAC, Etawah, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Security, Lucknow.
- Shri Aniruddh Kumar IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2018), presently SP, CID, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as Commandant, 28th Battalion, PAC, Etawah.
