Ms. Swati Sharma presently Professor at Centre for Rural Development and Technology, IIT, Delhi has been appointed by Government of India as Non-official Part-time Director on the Board of National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), an Enterprise of Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
NRDC is dedicated towards its primary objective to promote, develop and commercialise the technologies / know-how / inventions / patents / processes emanating from various national R&D institutions / Universities/ Institutes/Organisations etc.
The above new member joins the existing NRDC board that oversees the overall functioning of NRDC.
