Ms. Sandhya Venugopal Sharma IAS (Tamil Nadu 1995) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Space, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years vice Shri S Kumaraswamy IAS (AGMUT 1991) .
