Sidharth Vikram Singh IFS appointed DFO – Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana
Shri Sidharth Vikram Singh IFS (Telangana 2018), presently District Forest Officer, Nizamabad, has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer – Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana, in place of Shri G Kista Goud IFS.
An officer of the 2018 batch of the Indian Forest Service, Shri Sidharth Vikram Singh has been serving as District Forest Officer, Nizamabad. His assignment has involved responsibility for forest administration, conservation and protection activities in the district.
With the latest transfer, Shri Singh has been posted as District Forest Officer, Bhadradri Kothagudem. The new assignment places him in charge of the forest administration of one of Telangana’s important forest regions.
The role of District Forest Officer involves supervision of field formations, implementation of forest conservation and protection programmes and coordination with senior forest authorities and other government agencies.
Bhadradri Kothagudem presents significant responsibilities in terms of forest protection, biodiversity conservation and management of forest resources. Shri Singh’s experience in Nizamabad is expected to be valuable in handling the new assignment.
He succeeds Shri G Kista Goud IFS, who has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer, Jayashankar Bhupalapally.
The posting is part of a wider reshuffle in the Telangana Forest Department involving several changes in the assignments of District Forest Officers. Shri Singh’s new responsibility represents an important field-level assignment in the Indian Forest Service.
