Smt Roshni Sen, a seasoned bureaucrat of the 1993 West Bengal IAS cadre, has been promoted to the prestigious APEX Scale of the Indian Administrative Service (I.A.S.), with a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 2,25,000, this elevation is effective from January 1, 2024.
Presently holding the position of Principal Secretary in the Consumer Affairs Department, Smt Roshni Sen will now undertake the role of Additional Chief Secretary for the same department alongside the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary in the Environment Department.
