Ms Ritu Arora IPS (Odisha 1995) presently IG, CISF, has been given extension of deputation tenure beyond 22.09.2018 and up to 30.04.2020 (overall tenure of seven years). Ms Arora commenced her professional career is November, 1997 as ASP, Hazaribagh (Jharkhand State). During her 13 years of Police service, she has worked in various capacities including as ASP, Sundargarh, Addl.SP, Khurda, SP Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, SP of 2 districts i.e. Nayagarh, Cuttack Railway district, Dy. Commissioner of Police (Hdqrs) and Addl. Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack. She joined as DIG of Police, Training, BPSPA, Bhubaneswar on 24.07.2012. She has also been conferred with President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service, 2011.
