R.N. Ravi, former Special Director – IB (Intelligence Bureau), appointed as Chairman – Joint Intelligence Committee, he is the new interlocutor for talks with Naga insurgent group NSCN (IM) . This position is of the rank of Secretary to GoI for a period of 3 years. Ravi is seen as the one with no nonsense and pragmatic approach to talks with Naga insurgent groups.
