Shri Rakesh Singh IAS (Karnataka 1989) presently posted as Joint Secretary Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) Government of India is likely to return to parent cadre after seven years of completion of Central Deputation his deputation tenure will be end on 31st September 2015.
Shri Singh is a Science Graduate and has done his PG in Psychology. His Indian bureaucracy career started in 1991 as Asst Commissioner and has been posted at Hassan,Bijapur,Uttara Kannada, CM Sectt and has been on Central Deputation since 2008, overlooking Rajya Sabha Sectt, Law & Justice,Legal Affairs and presently with Home Affairs.
