Rajendra Singh empanelled as Joint Secretary in Government of India

Shri Rajendra Singh IPS (Maharashtra 1989)  has been empanelled for the post of Joint Secretary in Government of India.

Shri Singh started his Indian bureaucracy career as assistant superintendent of police (rural) in Aurangabad. After two years (1991 -93) he was posted as additional SP at Latur where his work handling the Killari Earthquake (1993), was appreciated. In 1994-95, he worked as additional SP Amravati, later being promoted as SP Bhandara , and then an year later, he was transferred as SP to Ratnagiri where he managed the anti-Enron agitation in an efficient manner.

In 1998, he was posted as DCP in Mumbai , then shifted to Nagpur as DCP Zone I, where he worked for around a year.  After working for three years in Delhi IBA, he was given the responsibility of additional commissioner of police, crime branch, Pune. In 2010, he was posted as director of state intelligence department in Pune. He was also awarded the police medal in 2005 for his excellent services.
