Indian Bureaucracy News, Chandigarh, December 11, 2025 | The Punjab government announced transfers and additional charges (dt 11.12.2025) for several IAS and PCS officers, in the departments such as Local Government, Technical Education, Revenue, and divisional administrations. Key moves include Shri Tejveer Singh IAS to Technical Education & Industrial Training, Shri Manvesh Singh Sidhu IAS as Commissioner, Roopnagar Division, and Shri Ramvir IAS as Commissioner, Jalandhar Division, alongside changes in investment promotion, municipal administration, and small industries.
- Shri Tejveer Singh IAS (Punjab 1994), presently Additional Chief Secretary, Local Government, Punjab, is transferred and appointed as Additional Chief Secretary – Technical Education & Industrial Training, Punjab.
- Shri Manvesh Singh Sidhu IAS (Punjab 2004), presently Administrative Secretary, Labour, with additional charge of Secretary, Revenue & Rehabilitation, Punjab, is given additional charge of Commissioner – Roopnagar Division, Roopnagar, Punjab, relieving Smt Gurpreet Kaur Sapra IAS of the additional charge.
- Shri Arun Sekhri IAS (Punjab 2004), presently Commissioner, Ferozepur Division, Ferozepur, with additional charge of Commissioner, Jalandhar Division, Jalandhar, is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner, Jalandhar Division, and is given additional charge of Commissioner – Faridkot Division, Faridkot, Punjab, relieving Shri Manjit Singh Brar IAS.
- Shri Manjit Singh Brar IAS (Punjab 2007), presently Commissioner, Faridkot Division, Faridkot, is transferred and appointed as Administrative Secretary – Local Government, relieving Shri Tejveer Singh IAS.
- Shri Ramvir IAS (Punjab 2009), presently Secretary, Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board, with additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Information & Public Relations, Punjab, is given additional charge of Commissioner – Jalandhar Division, Jalandhar, relieving Shri Arun Sekhri IAS of the additional charge.
- Shri Rubinderjit Singh Brar IAS (Punjab 2020), presently Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, is given additional charge of Additional Secretary – NRI Affairs, Punjab.
- Ms Sonam IAS (Punjab 2023), presently Assistant Secretary, Department of Excise & Taxation, Punjab, is given additional charge of Joint Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Patiala.
- Shri Jagdeep Saigal PCS (Punjab 2016), presently Joint Secretary, Local Government, Punjab, is given additional charge of Additional Managing Director – Punjab Small Industries Export Corporation.
