Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Secretary (Power) visited National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC) of Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO), a wholly owned Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, today. Shri Bhalla was welcomed by Shri K. V. S. Baba, CMD and other Directors of POSOCO.
Shri S R Narasimhan, Director (System Operation) made a presentation on the recently implemented Security Constrained Economic Despatch (SCED) System. Shri Bhalla also released a report on ‘Ramping Capability of Coal & Analysis Generation in India’ recently published by POSOCO.
Ms. Meenakshi Davar Director (Human Resources), Shri P. K. Agarwal, Director (Market Operation), Shri Ranjan Kumar Srivastava, Director (Finance), Shri S. Narsimhan, Director (System Operation) and other dignitaries of POSOCO were also present during the session.
