National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) signed memorandum of understanding with Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar, Punjab, the largest private university in the country on 13th Oct 2017. The purpose of the MOU is to license and commercialization of the patented technologies developed by LPU to provide support to LPU in filing and commercialization of its Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). The MOU was signed by Chairman and Managing Director, NRDC, Dr. H Purushotham and Registrar of LPU Dr. Monica Gulati, Senior Officials Dr. G. Geetha, Dean (R&D) LPU and Shri B K Sahu, Dy Manager (IPR) were also present during MOU signing. LPU has many interesting market oriented inventions/ patented technologies like targeted drug delivery of colon cancer, fitness bracelet, for whichNRDC will be looking forward to transfer these technologies to industries.
