Profit for the half year ended 30th Sept 2018 is Rs.647.35 Cr compared to Rs.642.97 Cr in the corresponding period of previous year, registering a marginal growth.Lignite production during the half year ending 30th Sept 2018 is 99.41 LT compared to 101.26 LT in the corresponding period of previous year.
Power sale during the half year ending 30th Sept 2018 is 8,116.98 MU as against 8,617.76 MU in the corresponding period of previous year.Lignite sale during the half year ending 30th Sept 2018 is 15.82 LT as against 6.26 LT in the corresponding period of previous year.The total Revenue of the Company during the half year ending 30th Sept 2018 is Rs.3,722.18 Cr as against Rs.4,459.09 Cr in the corresponding period of the previous year. Reduction in turnover is mainly on account of non-applicability of Clean Energy Cess after introduction of GST and application of INDAS 115 from 1st April’2018 by the Company and these having no impact on bottom line.
The power surrender (net) during the half year ending 30th Sept 2018 is reduced to 1,217.31 MU as against 1,399.07 MU in the corresponding period of the previous year.
