V S N V Prasad IFS appointed Conservator of Forests – Planning and Vigilance, Telangana
Shri V S N V Prasad IFS (Telangana 2009), presently awaiting posting, has been appointed as Conservator of Forests – Planning and Vigilance (P&V), Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad.
An officer of the 2009 batch of the Indian Forest Service, Shri V S N V Prasad has been entrusted with an important responsibility in the administrative and supervisory structure of the Telangana Forest Department. His new assignment as Conservator of Forests, Planning and Vigilance, places him in a key position within the office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF).
The Planning and Vigilance wing has an important role in supporting the planning, monitoring and administrative oversight functions of the Forest Department. The assignment involves coordination of departmental planning processes and matters relating to vigilance and institutional supervision.
As Conservator of Forests, Shri Prasad will be responsible for functions associated with the effective implementation and monitoring of departmental responsibilities under the P&V wing. The position requires experience in forest administration, organisational coordination and supervision of departmental processes.
