NHPC, India’s premier hydropower utility organized a ‘Hindi Kavi Sammelan’ at its Corporate Office at Faridabad on 19th March 2019. The Kavi Sammelan was inaugurated by Shri Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC in the presence of Shri Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects), Shri N.K. Jain, Director (Personnel) and Shri M.K. Mittal, Director (Finance) NHPC and a large number of NHPC officers and employees.
Speaking on the occasion Shri Joshi informed that with the generation of 23439 Million units, NHPC has surpassed its record of highest cumulative actual generation of 23404 MUs achieved in FY 2015-16. Shri Joshi further said that the Kavi Sammelan was organized towards promoting Rajbasha and also to celebrate the festival of colours ‘Holi’ which represents our culture and spirit of brotherhood.
The Kavi Sammelan witnessed participation of renowned poets Shri Dinesh Raghuvanshi, Dr. Popular Meeruthi, Shri Anil Agravanshi, Dr. Sita Sagar and Shri Manvir ‘Madhur’ who enthralled the audiences through a variety of poems on themes as patriotism, satire, affection, relationships etc.
