Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Tribal Affairs, Shri Arjun Munda, inaugurated the Girls Hostel “Phalguni” and “Chayan Bhawan” at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa, New Delhi. The hostel, “Phalguni,” boasts 500 rooms and is equipped with modern amenities, including a Food Court, Solar Energy System, Rain Water Harvesting System, Generator-Based Power Backup, Wi-Fi Network, R.O. Drinking water, firefighting system, parking, and a lift. The ceremony was attended by Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Ms. Shobha Karandlaje, Shri Kailash Chaudhary, Secretary of DARE, Director General of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Chairman of ASRB Dr. Sanjay Kumar, and IAIR Director Dr. A.K. Singh, along with officials, scientists, teachers, students, and farmers.
