Ms Manju Gupta IRSEE (1981) presently Additional General Manager, Northern Railway Baroda House, New Delhi has been empanelled for appointment to the post of Additional Member (Electrical), Railway Board in the HAG+ Grade of with effect from the date of her assumption of charge of the post and till the date of her superannuation.
Ms Gupta is entrusted with the task of coordinating among different Principal Heads of Departments in bringing efficiency in railway operations. She did her B.Tech. from premier institute – Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and was the winner of Gold Medal and then did her M.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) from IIT, Roorkee. She is also M.B.A. from IGNOU and completed her M.Phil. from Indian Institute of Public Administration.
Ms Gupta holds the distinction of joining as First Lady Officer in any of the Engineering Services of Indian Railways. She was nominated for the course of “Transforming Organisation and Asset Management” at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh in July, 2017. She was also nominated for “Advanced Professional Programme in Public Administration” conducted by Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi and went to Australia for “Heavy Haul Train Operation training.
