Shri Manish Bhardwaj IAS (Gujarat 1997), has been appointed as Deputy Director General (DDG), Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years vice Shri Rupinder Singh IAS (MH:1996).
