Shri K Surendra Mohan IAS (Telangana 2006) has been transferred and posted as Secretary – Agriculture & Co-operation Department vice Shri M Raghunandan Rao IAS(2002). Shri K Surendra Mohan shall continue to hold the additional charge as Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies and Director- Marketing, Telangana.
Shri K Surendra Mohan is a civil servant known for his integrity, administrative acumen, and commitment to public service, Shri Mohan brings with him a wealth of experience across diverse sectors of governance.
Prior to this appointment, he served with distinction as Secretary to the Hon’ble Governor at the Governor’s Secretariat, Hyderabad, where he played a pivotal role in ensuring smooth coordination and administrative efficiency. His earlier assignments include serving as District Collector, where his proactive and people-centric approach earned wide appreciation, and as Additional Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), where he contributed significantly to urban development and municipal reforms.
As Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate, Khammam, Shri Mohan demonstrated exemplary leadership in district administration and revenue management. His deep understanding of governance and grassroots issues positions him well to lead the Agriculture & Co-operation Department, where his vision and dedication are expected to further strengthen Telangana’s agricultural growth and cooperative framework.
