Ms. Ira Joshi IIS (1984) presently Director General of Press Information Bureau (PIB) in the National Capital has been appointed as the Director General of Doordarshan News vice Ms. Veena Jain, according to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Ms. Joshi has previously worked as the Additional Director General at the publications division and Directorate of Advertising and visual publicity (DAVP) for two and three years, respectively.
