Shri Gupteshwar Pandey IPS (Bihar 1987) presently DG of Bihar Police Academy and Bihar Military Police has been appointed as Director General of Police (DGP), Bihar vice Shri K S Dwivedi IPS (Bihar 1984). Shri Gupteshwar Pandey is native of Geruama village under Itarhi police station in Buxar District, Pandey had completed his Master’s degree in Sanskrit from Patna College in 1981. Prior to getting appointed as an IPS officer, he was selected for Indian Revenue Service (IRS) in 1986.
