Ms. Dipti Mohil Chawla IDAS (1995) presently Additional Secretary- Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence has been given extension for a period upto 06.05.2026 .
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension in tenure of Ms. Dipti Mohil Chawla, a 1995-batch officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence.
Ms. Chawla’s term has been extended for a period up to 6th May 2026, reflecting the government’s continued confidence in her leadership and administrative acumen. Known for her expertise in defence finance and strategic budgeting, she has played a vital role in managing key policy and financial matters within the Ministry of Defence.
