Shri Dharmendra Kumar Madan IOFS (1994) presently CVO – POWERGRID (PGCIL), Delhi/NCR (JS level) has been given premature repatriation to his parent cadre.
Shri D K Madan completed his graduation in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, post- graduation Diploma in Finance Management and has experience for around 21 years in the area of Techno-commercial, Administrative & Management in Defence production units in various parts of country under the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), Department of Defence Production, Min. of Defence, Govt. of India.
During 2017-2022 as Director (Chemical) in Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers he looked after policy matters of the chemicals & petrochemicals sector, an important manufacturing sector of Indian economy & matters of PSUs under the department. He was nominated as “Government Nominee Director” in PSUs under the department. He coordinated with INVEST INDIA, DPIIT & FICCI to organize events to facilitate investment & FDI for the growth of chemical/ petrochemical sector & boost the exports of chemical commodities. Due to various policy initiative taken during FY 2019-20, 2020-21 & 2021-22, chemicals & related commodities export was highest among all the commodities. He is alumni of National Defence College (NDC) & completed prestigious training course in “National Security & Strategy” from NDC, New Delhi in the year 2022.
He had joined as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), POWERGRID w.e.f. 28.11.2022.
