Smt Deepa D Nair IFoS (Tripura 2001) presently Secretary, Education (Social Welfare & Social Education) Department, has been given additional charge as Co-operation Department.She has completed M Sc in Agriculture Microbiology on Nodulation and Nitrogen fixation of Root Nodulating Bacteria of Indigofera tinctoria Linn a medicinal plant of commercial value from IARI, Pusa, New Delhi. She has served as Divisional Forest Officer, Research and also as CEO of Medicinal Plants Board of Tripura. At present she is serving as the Divisional Forest Officer, Udaipur, South Tripura.
