Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, July 31, 2025 | The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued fresh transfer and posting orders for four (04) Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of the AGMUT cadre, including the transfer of the current DIG of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Shri Dumbere Milind Mahadeo, a 2006 batch officer of the cadre. The appointments are effective immediately. These transfers are part of routine cadre planning to ensure effective leadership placement across Union Territories.

  1. Shri Dumbere Milind Mahadeo IPS (AGMUT 2006), presently posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (DNH&DD), with additional charge of DIG, Prisons, DNH&DD, is transferred to Delhi Police.
  2. Shri Amit Sharma IPS (AGMUT 2010), presently posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), Dadra & Nagar Haveli, with additional charges of SP, Anti-Corruption Unit, DNH&DD, SP, Traffic, DNH, and, Principal, Police Training School, Sayli, DNH&DD, is transferred to Delhi Police.
  3. Shri Santosh Kumar Meena IPS (AGMUT 2010), on return from Central Deputation where he was posted as DIG, National Investigation Agency (NIA), is transferred to DNH&DD
  4. Shri Mohd Irshad Haider IPS (AGMUT 2013), presently SP, HQ, Andaman & Nicobar, is transferred to Delhi Police.
