Shri B. V. Gopala Reddy IAS (Maharashtra 1994)  presently posted as Additional Metropolitan Commissioner of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority(MRDA) has been appointed as Secretary to Maharashtra Governor Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao.

Shri Reddy has done his graduation in Agriculture and PG in Genetics. His Indian bureaucracy career started in 1996 as SDO -Chandrapur and Collector for Gadchiroli. He has been the Director of Youth Welfare ,MD of Horticulture based in Pune . He was in Social Justice & Empowerment Dept in Delhi between 2009-10.
