Shri B C Patnaik Former Managing Director of LIC, has been appointed as Member (Life) of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).Shri Patnaik is a postgraduate in Political Science and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. He joined LIC in 1986 as a Direct Recruit Officer. He has rich and diverse experience of Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Underwriting, Group Business, Personnel, and Training. He has worked across the length and breadth of the country – Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal.
