Shri D Sathiyan IFoS (Assam-Meghalaya 1996) presently Secretary, Spices Board, Kochi, has been given extension of deputation tenure for a period of one year from 18.03.2023 to 17.03.2024. Shri Sathiyan is post Graduate in Forestry from Tamil Nadu Agriculture University (TNAU) and from Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), Dehradun. Served in various capacities in the State of Meghalaya of well as under the Government of India. In Meghalaya, served as Secretary, Bio-Diversity Board, Secretary, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Chief Conservator of Forest etc. In the Central Government, served as Faculty at the Central Academy for State Forest Service Coimbatore and as Conservator of Forests (Central) in the Regional office of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Chennai.
