Shri Anjani Kumar Tiwari presently Executive Director, GAIL (India) Limited has been appointed for the post of Director (Finance), GAIL (India) Limited by Public Enterprises Selection Board( PESB).
Shri A K Tiwari joined GAIL in the year 1995 as Manager(F&A) . Prior to joining GAIL, he also served National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVNL) and Cawanpore Chemicals , Kanpur .
He has rich experience of nearly 35 years in the areas of Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Taxation ,Treasury, Capital Budgetingetc. During GAIL he served as HoD of Project Finance , O&M , E&P , HVJ , JLPL activities and Corporate Finance activities . He also served as Chief Finance Officer in Brahmaputra Cracker& Polymer Limited (BCPL) , Assam having Rs. 10000 crore investment . In addition to the system development the Financial Closure was completed in BCPL.
He is active member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and The Institute of Directors .
