Indian Bureaucracy News, Amaravati, September 08, 2025| The Andhra Pradesh government has ordered a major reshuffle involving 11 IAS officers across key departments. G Anantha Ramu IAS (1990), Special Chief Secretary, Environment, Forest, Science & Technology, has been appointed Special Chief Secretary to the Governor, while Anil Kumar Singhal IAS (1993), who was awaiting posting, takes charge as Executive Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. M T Krishna Babu IAS (1993) moves from Health, Medical & Family Welfare to Transport, Roads & Buildings, with additional charge of Infrastructure & Investments.

The reshuffle also repositions officers across excise, minorities, labour and industry portfolios, with J Syamala Rao IAS (1997) moving to Political, GAD, Mukesh Kumar Meena of 1998 batch to Revenue (Excise), and Saurabh Gaur of 2002 batch IAS to Health and Civil Supplies. Mid-level shifts placed three 2006 batch officers – Pravin Kumar at AP Bhavan, while Ch Sridhar at minorities, M V Seshagiri Babu at labour. Also Retired officer Dr M Hari Jawaharlal IAS (Retd.) a seasoned officer of 2005 batch took over Revenue (Endowments) for the state.

  1. Shri G Anantha Ramu IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1990), presently Special Chief Secretary, Environment Forest Science & Technology (EFS&T) Department, Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Special Chief Secretary – Governor of Andhra Pradesh, relieving Dr M Hari Jawaharlal IAS (Retd).
  2. Shri Anil Kumar Singhal IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1993), presently awaiting posting, is appointed as Executive Officer – Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Andhra Pradesh, relieving Shri J Syamala Rao IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1997).
  3. Shri M T Krishna Babu IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1993), presently Special Chief Secretary, Health Medical & Family Welfare Department, Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Special Chief Secretary – Transport Roads & Buildings Department, Andhra Pradesh, relieving Shri Kantilal Dande IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1999), with additional charge of Special Chief Secretary – Infrastructure & Investments Department, Andhra Pradesh, relieving Dr N Yuvaraj IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2005).
  4. Shri J Syamala Rao IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1997), presently Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary – Political, General Administration Department (GAD), Andhra Pradesh, relieving Shri Mukesh Kumar Meena IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1998).
  5. Shri Mukesh Kumar Meena IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1998), presently Principal Secretary, Political, General Administration Department, Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary – Revenue (Excise) Department, Andhra Pradesh, with additional charge of Principal Secretary – Industries & Commerce (Mines) Department, Andhra Pradesh, relieving Shri Pravin Kumar IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2006).
  6. Shri Kantilal Dande IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1999), presently Principal Secretary, Transport Roads & Buildings Department, Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary – Environment Forest Science & Technology (EFS&T) Department, Andhra Pradesh, relieving Shri G Anantha Ramu IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1990).
  7. Shri Saurabh Gaur IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2002), presently Commissioner, Civil Supplies, Andhra Pradesh, and, Ex-Officio Secretary, Consumer Affairs Food & Civil Supplies, Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Health Medical & Family Welfare Department, Andhra Pradesh, with additional charge of Commissioner – Civil Supplies, and, Ex-Officio Secretary – Consumer Affairs Food & Civil Supplies Department, Andhra Pradesh.
  8. Shri Pravin Kumar IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2006), presently Secretary, Industries & Commerce (Mines) Department, Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Resident Commissioner – Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, New Delhi, relieving Shri Saurabh Gaur IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2002).
  9. Shri Ch Sridhar IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2006), presently Commissioner, Minorities Welfare, Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Minorities Welfare Department, Andhra Pradesh. The officer is also placed in full, with additional charge of Commissioner – Minorities Welfare, Andhra Pradesh.
  10. Shri MV Seshagiri Babu IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2006), presently Commissioner of Labour, Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Labour Factories Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Department, Andhra Pradesh, with additional charge of Commissioner – Labour, Andhra Pradesh.
  11. Dr M Hari Jawaharlal IAS (Retd. Andhra Pradesh 2005), presently Ex-Officio Secretary – Governor of Andhra Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Ex-Officio Secretary – Revenue (Endowments) Department, Andhra Pradesh, relieving Shri Vadarevu Vinay Chand IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2008).
