Indian Bureaucracy News, Chandigarh, September 10, 2025| The Haryana government has assigned Principal Secretary (Agriculture & Farmers Welfare) Shri Pankaj Agarwal IAS additional charge of Sonipat district as part of a revamped district monitoring framework. Under the new system, Administrative Secretaries will submit quarterly reports to the Chief Secretary’s coordination cell, reviewing projects above ₹25 crore, crime trends, vigilance clearances, service delivery under the Right to Service Act, and performance in health, education and social sectors.
Secretaries are also expected to flag tax and GST bottlenecks, interact with MLAs alongside DCs and SPs, and make on-ground visits to key health and education sites — a move seen as tightening bureaucratic oversight at the district level.
IndianBureaucracy.com wishes Shri Pankaj Agarwal the very best.
