Shri Vivek Joshi IAS (Haryana 1989), presently the Chief Secretary of Haryana, overseeing the General Administration, Human Resources, Personnel & Training, Parliamentary Affairs, and Vigilance Departments, as well as acting as Secretary In-charge of Plan Coordination and Chief Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, has been appointed as the next Election Commissioner. He will serve on the Election Commission until 2031.
