Vivek Jain IDSE appointed as CVO- ITDC
Shri Vivek Jain IDSE (2006) has been appointed as CVO- India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC), Delhi under the Ministry of Tourism for an initial period of 3 years.
The India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC) is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Established in 1966, ITDC plays a key role in the development and promotion of tourism infrastructure and services across the country.
ITDC is primarily engaged in hospitality, travel, and tourism-related activities. It owns and operates a chain of hotels under the Ashok Group, including luxury and budget properties in major cities. In addition to hotel management, the corporation provides services such as transport, duty-free shopping, catering, and event management.
The organization also promotes India as a global tourist destination by participating in international tourism fairs and campaigns. It contributes to the preservation and showcasing of India’s cultural heritage through tourism initiatives and infrastructure development.
