Shri Vishal Bharadwaj IAS (UP 2013), presently District Magistrate & Collector, Kushinagar, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh, reflecting the government’s confidence in his administrative capabilities and his commitment to public service.
Shri Bharadwaj holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Lucknow University, where he graduated with First Division. He further honed his policy and governance expertise by completing a Master in Public Administration (M.P.A.) from the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, where he was formally awarded the degree.
With experience in field administration and a strong academic foundation in public policy, Shri Bharadwaj brings a balanced perspective to his new role in the Chief Minister’s Office. His appointment is expected to strengthen coordination and support high-level governance initiatives in the state.
