Shri Vijay Kumar IRAS (1982) presently Additional Member (Budget), Railway Board, has taken over additional charge of Managing Director- Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) from 26th July, 2018. Shri Kumar holds Masters of Science degree from Patna University. Shri Kumar carries with him rich and va ried experience in Finance & Accounting for a period spanning more than 35 years in Indian Railways.
Shri Kumar has also participated in various trainings in India & abroad like at ISB Hyderabad, University of Toronto, Canada & Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburg, USA.
