G Kista Goud IFS transferred as DFO – Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Telangana
Shri G Kista Goud IFS (SFS: 2016), presently District Forest Officer, Bhadradri Kothagudem, has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer – Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Telangana, relieving Shri M Naveen Reddy IFS.
An officer of the State Forest Service inducted into the Indian Forest Service and belonging to the 2016 batch of the State Forest Service, Shri G Kista Goud has been serving as District Forest Officer, Bhadradri Kothagudem.
As DFO, Bhadradri Kothagudem, he has been associated with the administration and management of forest resources in a district known for its extensive forest areas and ecological significance. The position involves responsibilities relating to forest protection, conservation, administration and coordination with local stakeholders.
With the latest order, Shri Goud has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer, Jayashankar Bhupalapally. The new assignment places him in charge of the forest administration of another important forest-rich district of Telangana.
The role of District Forest Officer involves supervision of field formations, implementation of forest conservation programmes and management of departmental responsibilities at the district level. The officer also coordinates with senior forest authorities and other government departments on matters relating to forest administration and environmental protection.
Shri Goud’s experience in Bhadradri Kothagudem is expected to be valuable in handling his new responsibility. He will relieve Shri M Naveen Reddy IFS.
The transfer forms part of the latest changes in the Telangana Forest Department and involves the movement of senior field-level forest officers across important districts.
