Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) was incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 after converting a statutory commission namely Oil & Natural Gas Commission through an Act of Parliament with the vision to become a world class oil and gas company integrated in energy business with dominant Indian leadership and global presence. ONGC is engaged in Exploration & Production of Hydrocarbons, Refinery, Power generation, Petrochemicals and Renewable energy sources. ONGC is a schedule –‘A’ / Maharatna CPSE with the administrative
jurisdiction of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

The Director (Finance) is a member of Board of Directors and reports to Chairman and Managing Director. He/She is in overall charge of finance and accounts functions of the organization, and is responsible for evolving and formulating related policies and their implementation.
