PIB News Update: Minister of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Prakash Javadekar has informed thatGovernment of Kerala has agreed to take over BHEL’s 51% stake in BHEL-EML. Thereafter, as per the laid down procedure in General Financial Rules and the extant guidelines, transfer of assets is being processed.
Union Cabinet, had on 30.11.2016, accorded ‘in principle’ approval for the transfer of Palakkad Unit of Instrumentation Limited to the Government of Kerala. A tripartite memorandum of understanding has been signed by Government of India, Government of Kerala and Instrumentation Limited defining the modalities of transfer of Palakkad Unit to the Government of Kerala.
